Mathieu Rollandin: Jazz saxophoneplayer from Italy.
This Recital it's a journey into Italian melodies adapted for a Jazz setting. During the concert you will listen to the arrangement of a worldknown melody like “The Love Theme” from Nuovo Cinema Paradiso (Andrea Morricone) and other very known Italian songs: “Estate” (Bruno Martino) and “Senza Fine” (Gino Paoli). Moreover the band will perform two original compositions (from Mathieu) and a T.Monk's song. Through these pieces you will experience a melodical playing and the typical lyricism of Italian music combined with Jazzimprov. Mathieu will lead his band playing tenor- and sopranosaxophone.
