Thom Ritter is a Tilburg based singer and songwriter from The Netherlands. In his time studying at the jazz department of the Academy of Music and Performing Arts, he quickly took an interest in songwriting. His background in rock and pop music never left his voice and way of writing, even in jazz music. 'No matter the style, music is always a language to reach people and to communicate.'
While recovering from a critical neurological condition, nearly escaping the claws of death, he was given a vision. To inspire people around the world to keep fighting their toughest battles, no matter how hard it is. 'Greatness shows through scars and broken bones.'
This would never be able without the support of his amazing band members, who always succeed in blowing the roof off the place. Thom has returned to his roots, but kept all the best things he learned throughout his studies. His music and singing has been compared with the likes of John Mayer, Michael Bublé, Muse's lead singer Matthew Bellamy and Alain Clark. A sweet, soulful tone inspired by rough rock.
