Tonight Korean-born jazz pianist and composer Bumjun Yim will perform his bachelor graduation concert. After five years of studying at Fontys Conservatorium Tilburg with teachers of Sjoerd van Eijck and Wolfert Brederode, he now presents a set of his own compositions which are calm, creative, and deeply lyrical works that blend subtle harmonies with gentle rhythms. Drawing on his cultural roots and years of study in the Netherlands, Bumjun’s music offers a tranquil yet expressive journey through melody and mood. This evening is a celebration of his artistic growth.
