Vanavond is eindpresentatie van de masterstudie van Noah Spierts (Nono Ofzo) waarin hij zich heeft verdiept in elektronische muziek met in het bijzonder het maken en uitvoeren van hardware live sets. Aansluitend op het eindexamen zijn er een drietal DJ sets van Dubby Puppy X Traffic Jams.
For his final masters recital, Noah Spierts (Nono Ofzo) is bringing a special night of electronic music to Paradox. After finishing his bachelor studies in jazz guitar, he redirected his curiosity into the world of electronic sounds: specialising in building and performing hardware live sets, which you will be able to witness this evening.
Alongside his armada of samplers and synthesisers, he’s proud to bring the underground music collective Traffic Jams to this important night at Paradox! All of Tilburg is invited to feel the rhythms, experience the frequencies and dance the night away.
Traffic Jams is een DJ collectief uit Tilburg dat feesten en evenementen organiseert. Zo waren ze voorheen vast onderdeel van de programmering in de GinFizz en doen ze regelmatig radio-take-overs (bv. bij Radio Smederij). Het is een internationaal collectief van muzikanten en creatieve professionals dat zich naast een altijd eclectische line-up ook inzet voor een visueel engagerende ambiance.
Dubby Puppy X Traffic Jams
Halverwegen is a Dutch, Tilburg based DJ and core member of the Traffic Jams collective. His sets span the electronic musical spectrum, from UKG to Techno, Jungle and what have you not. Just a cool guy with huge love for music.
Moročkū is a Tilburg based Lithuanian DJ. She plays between hypnotic techno, melodic textures, dubby bass, rolling percussion, acid and broken beats. Drawn to weirder leftfield sounds, she follows feelings rather than genres, creating space to get lost for a while. Dance is her love and Music is her Lifeline.
Raven b2b Dubby Puppy For this night, the two iconic Tilburg musicians, Raven and Dubby Puppy, will be going back to back (or in this case: bestie to bestie) to end the night with an explosive hour of Bass. Expect their sounds to intertwine into a peak blend of their personalities. This is truly an evening you do not want to miss out on!
