Originals Ensemble: 19:00-19:20
De studenten van het originals ensemble hebben gewerkt aan vier eigen stukken, geschreven door de studenten zelf, onder begeleiding van pianist/componist Sjoerd van Eijck. Gezien de aard van het ensemble is het repertoire een mix van verschillende stijlen, allemaal te linken aan jazz, de een meer in de traditie en de ander meer modern. Het ensemble bestaat uit 5 muzikanten waaronder zangeres Iulia Sorlea, gitarist Alberto Ammendolia, pianist Ieva van Goethem, bassist Rocco Stilphen en drummer Jeroen Heefer

Advanced Realbook Ensemble: 20:20-20:40
The Advanced Realbook Ensemble is a group of students from the Fontys Academy of the Arts, diving deep into the American Songbook repertoire and exploring the details that bring this music to life. Inspired by artists like Sarah Vaughan, Joshua Redman, Wynton Marsalis, and Art Blakey, they bring both tradition and personality to the bandstand. Featuring Iulia Sorlea on vocals, Stef Van Uden on trumpet, Omar Soliman on piano,** Alberto Ammendolia** on guitar, Rocco Stilphen on Bass and Karsten Goyaarts on drums

Afro-Cuban Ensemble: 21:00-21:20
The Cuban Jazz ensamble will perform a variety of compositions that combine Cuban roots with jazz improvisation. If you love rhythm- centered ensambles than you will surely be mesmerized by this group's performance. Featuring two guitars, horns, drums, percussions , piano and bass, this formation presents a rich diverse and full sound.
