The group explores the edges of genre and form where chaos meets control, and silence meets sound. From textural explorations to explosive energy, the band invites listeners into a dynamic space where nothing is fixed and everything is possible.

Fontys-Cuban Ensemble - 21:20-21:40
Met een combinatie van traditionele Cubaanse muziek en hedendaagse Latin muziek creëert het Fontys Cuban Latin Ensemble een unieke stijl. Dit ensemble bestaat uit studenten van het Tilburgs conservatorium (Fontys Academy of the Arts). Dit is een gemixte groep van zowel de jazz én de klassieke muziekafdeling uit verschillende landen, waaronder: Nederland, Spanje, Portugal, Chili en Mexico.
Het repertoire wat zij spelen loopt van Eddie Palmeri tot Gloria Estefan. Deze botsing van tijdperken vindt plaats door traditionele stukken met een moderne instrumentenbezetting te spelen, of juist het tegenovergestelde waarbij composities met een traditionele percussiesectie worden gespeeld. De muziek is gebaseerd op ritme, maar er worden ook pakkende melodieën, harmonieën en improvisaties gespeeld.
