Fábio Almeida is in alle opzichten een wereldreiziger. Geboren in Frankrijk, opgegroeid in Portugal en momenteel woonachtig in Tilburg. Als saxofonist, componist en producer heeft hij een stijl ontwikkeld waarin jazz de basis vormt, met uitstapjes naar wereldmuziek, filmmuziek en moderne harmonieën. Beleef samen met Fábio en Tilburg Bigband de première van arrangementen van zijn nieuwe album Requiem for a Dragon, aangevuld met andere bigbandklassiekers!

Fábio Almeida is a world traveler in every sense of the word. Born in France, raised in Portugal, and currently living in Tilburg. The saxophonist, composer, and producer has developed a style in which jazz forms the foundation, but with offshoots into world music, film soundtracks, and modern harmonies.
