Our ensemble is the pre bachelor ensemble. For some of us it’s the first time playing in a band. We have Simon Alexandre on drums, Hein stinesen on bass, Janneke Teijen vocals, Sophia Maltezakion sax, Jonathan Janssen on the piano and Petros Frag on guitar. We have been rehearsing these tunes for 2 months with Stef Joosten.

Chamberjazz Ensemble 20:30-20:50
The chamberjazz ensemble is a dynamic group from the Fontys Conservatory. Consisting of classical and jazz students, this ensemble brings a unique approach to music, using collective improvisation, group interplay, and blending it with the acoustic chamber music sound. This ensemble is supervised by saxophonist Mete Erker, and features Iulia Sorlea (vocals), Karlo Žamić (alto sax), Brennan de Graaf (clarinet), Bruno Martins (vibraphone), Rocco Stilphen (double bass), Youri Traa (drums) and Tuur Steeghs (piano).

Evelien, Ieva, Max, Siyi, and Dario form an ensemble with diverse musical backgrounds. Evelien, the vocalist, hails from Son en Breugel and is in her third year of Jazz studies in Tilburg, where she’s challenging herself with Portuguese repertoire. Ieva, the pianist, originally trained in classical piano in Lithuania before pursuing jazz in the Netherlands, started on her third year. Max, a drummer from Nuremberg, is currently on an exchange year before completing his Jazz Bachelor’s in Würzburg. Siyi, the bassist, comes from Shanghai and is in his second year of bass guitar studies in the Netherlands. Dario, who began his musical journey as a drummer at a young age, later expanded his horizons to jazz guitar, making him a versatile musician.
